Rose Cardona Hargrave, Esq.
Licensed and practicing since 2008
Serving her community since 2009, Rose has been elected to 5 consecutive terms in Sunset Valley—2 as a council member and 3 as mayor, while also volunteering for other causes such as the Violet Crown Trail through Hill Country Conservancy, SFC Farmer’s Market and the JDRF One-Walk.
She manages this office under a mission to offer focused and highly personalized services for local-based corporations, collaborative needs and legal pathway immigration. This three pronged boutique approach has been going strong since 2010.
Before working on the private side, Rose was an attorney for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the state’s supreme court for criminal matters. As the court's Program Attorney, she supervised the Texas Criminal Justice Integrity Unit, assisted with the court's ten million dollar grant for legal education, and served as the legislative liaison. Prior to this position, she was a briefing attorney at the same court.
Rose received her B.A. in International Studies from Southwestern University. During this time, she lived and studied in Mexico and South America. Her study abroad experiences led to a position as the Director of Latin America Admissions for International Studies Abroad, a leading international education company in the United States. Her role in the international education field provided experience with contract management, university relations, budgeting, financial aid and crisis management.
